Tried out the pastel from their food truck at the cinco de mayo festival in Kakaako (coz all the taco trucks had huge lines...) glad I tried this place out coz their pastel with cheese and beef...

I thought the food truck was only open on the Saturday Kaka'ako farmers market, but turns out they are open 7 days a week! The coxinha and the spinach and feta pastel were my favorites!

Pastel is delicious- like a pie crisp with fried strawberries and Nutella in it. Shareable. Tried the churros- these were not cooked all the way through, but I'd come back for the pastel.

The Coxinha is fabulous and you should stop just for that. We both thought the açaí bowl was underwhelming for the price and wouldn't order again. Definitely worth the stop just for the coxinha...
