The Lovett School

The Galloway School, located in Atlanta, is a private, coeducational school that provides academic education and higher leaning opportunities to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school was established in 1969 and enrolls more than 700 students. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, foreign languages, science and social studies. The school additionally provides elective courses in various fields, such as journalism, theater, philosophy, computer applications, music and visual arts. The Galloway School also provides advanced-placement courses in English language and literature, United States history and government, European history, economics, calculus, statistics, biology, chemistry, French and Latin. Additonally, the school has a library that provides curriculum books, literary sources, electronic databases, audiovisual aids, access to the Internet, and newspapers and magazines. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, drama, theater, musical concerts and band. The Galloway School additionally provides various sports activities, such as softball, soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, swimming and tennis.
