Whitefield Academy

Whitefield Academy was formed in 1996 by the partnership of The Cranmer School and the Mount Vernon Christian Academy. It is a Catholic school that offers various academic and religious programs to more than 650 students in grades prekindergarten through grade 12. The school s curriculum includes programs in Bible, mathematics, writing journal, cursive writing, reading, social studies, science and English. Whitefield Academy also provides programs in music, physical education, band and art. It offers outdoor education to students. Its staff comprises counselors, and speech and occupational therapists. The school s sports activities include basketball, football and volleyball. The school offers day care and summer programs that consists of weekly field trips including swimming, skating, theme parks, camping and movies. Whitefield Academy is located in Mableton, Ga.
