Wasiu Adisa, DO, rejoined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Atlanta, Georgia, in December 2021, overseeing oncology emergency services as the Urgent Care Medical Director. This is his second stint at our Atlanta-area hospital, after serving as Urgent Care Physician from December 2014 to June 2016. In returning to CTCA®, Dr. Adisa says he missed the holistic care model provided under the CTCA Mother Standard® of care after more than a decade of expertise in emergency and urgent care. "At CTCA, patients can receive all the care they need: testing, specialist consultation, surgery, and emergent evaluation in urgent care," he says. "I really have a great appreciation for the comprehensive, whole-person care model at CTCA, and I was thrilled with the opportunity to come back as Medical Director of Urgent Care at CTCA Atlanta."

Fred Durden, MD, is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), Atlanta. Dr. Durden earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. He is accepting new patients.

Scott Shelfo, MD, is Medical Director of Urology and a Urologist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), Atlanta. Dr. Shelfo earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He is accepting new patients.
