Dr. Nguyen, M.D., PhD, FACS, earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. His fellowship in Hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) was completed at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Nguyen also holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Nguyen was in practice with the Department of Surgery, Division of HPB Surgery at the University of Michigan as Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Nguyen has been practicing medicine for 10 years. He is board certified in general surgery and is a member of the American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association.He is co-director of the Piedmont Pancreas Cancer Surgery Clinic. In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Dr. Nguyen welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Dr. Evan Weitman, M.D., FACS, is a Surgical Oncologist at Piedmont Healthcare. Dr. Weitman earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency in General Surgery at New York University. Dr. Weitman’s clinical focus is in surgical oncology; including the management of skin cancers such as melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma and merkel cell carcinoma. His special interests include the surgical management of locally advanced melanoma with a multimodality approach using oncolytic viral therapy (TVEC). He also has expertise in the surgical management of soft tissue tumors, gastrointestinal tumors including gastric and pancreatic cancer, and neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Weitman also has formal training in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Dr. Weitman has published numerous papers about the impact and surgical management of complex melanoma and has also published extensively on lymphedema, swelling of the extremity that can occur after lymph node surgery. Dr. Page is double board-certified in General Surgery and Complex Surgical Oncology by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the Pancreas Club, the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, and the Georgia Surgical Society. Dr. Page's clinical focus is in surgical oncology, including cancer of the stomach, liver, and pancreas. As a surgical oncologist, he particularly appreciates coordinating multidisciplinary care of patients with cancer, and also has experience in developing standardized and evidence-based perioperative clinical pathways. Dr. Page also has formal training in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He is Director of Surgical Oncology and HPB Surgery for Piedmont Healthcare and he is co-founder of the Piedmont Pancreas Cancer Surgery Clinic. He is the Founder and Director of the Atlanta Pancreas Cancer Conference held annually in November for physicians, clinicians, patients and caretakers.
