Adopt A Greyhound Atlanta, Inc. is Atlanta's oldest Greyhound adoption group, dedicated to providing food, shelter, and loving care to retired racing Greyhounds and other sighthounds in need. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, they aim to promote the adoption of these loyal companions while supporting the Greyhound community and answering questions related to their care and welfare.

With a commitment to responsible adoption practices, Adopt A Greyhound Atlanta has successfully placed over 6,500 Greyhounds into forever homes. Following the closure of Greyhound racetracks in Florida in January 2021, they currently do not have any ex-racers available for adoption but remain a resource for the community and potential adopters.
