Ben Burton Park is a 35-acre wildlife preserve nestled in Athens, GA, featuring a stunning hardwood forest and a 1.2-mile mineral surface loop trail for nature enthusiasts to explore. With fourteen picnic tables and two grills, visitors can enjoy a delightful outdoor dining experience amidst the park's serene surroundings. Formerly a hydroelectric generating station, Ben Burton Park holds historical significance and was generously donated to the county by Georgia Power. In honor of Ben W.
