Dr. Cook completed his undergraduate training, medical degree, internship and residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. He also served a junior-assistant residency in medicine, a senior-assistance residency in medicine and a fellowship at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Ga. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. His professional memberships include the American College of Cardiology (Fellow), the American Heart Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Medical Association of Atlanta and the Atlanta Clinical Society. He also is the co-author of the publication "Twenty-four hour continuous electrocardiography during exercise and free activity: 80 apparently healthy runners." Dr. Cook currently is in practice with The Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians group, Piedmont Hospital campus.

Ralitza T. Martin, M.D., earned her undergraduate and graduate degree from Universitat des Saarlandes School of Medicine in Homburg, Germany. Her special interests include management of lung nodules, advanced bronchoscopy techniques, robotic bronchoscopy, and minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for patients with lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies, airway lesions, and pleural disorders. Dr. Martin was the first physician in Georgia to perform Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction. This is the first FDA-approved lung valve device to help emphysema patients breathe easier and regain daily activities without major surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Martin enjoys traveling around the world, spending time with her loved ones and being in the air.
