Yelenis Seijo De Armas, M.D., is a cardiologist at Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. She diagnoses, treats and manages a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. Her clinical interests include the optimization of cardiovascular health in women and pregnant women. Dr. Seijo De Armas earned her medical degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami. She completed an internal medicine residency as well as a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Fla. During her clinical training, Dr. Seijo De Armas published her work in scientific journals, presented at medical conferences, served on committees and taught medical students. She contributes to the medical community as a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. To provide compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Seijo De Armas takes time to get to know her patients and their unique needs and preferences. She recognizes their values, respects their autonomy and encourages open and honest communication.
