Industrial Electric Testing was incorporated in the state of Florida, fall 1987, as the testing division of Industrial Electric Construction Company. James T. Hill, then Chairman of the Board and Owner of IET, later purchased Industrial and became an independent testing company. IET is a full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards writing organization made up of independent electrical testing firms throughout North America and Canada. As a full member company of NETA, IET functions as an unbiased test authority, professionally independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems to be evaluated. Industrial's headquarters are located in Jacksonville, Florida servicing North, Central and the Western part of Florida, as well as, South Georgia. Since 1994 we have also maintained a branch office in Hallandale to service the Southern portion of the state.
