Oviedo City Fire Prevention

The City of Oviedo Fire Rescue was established in 1947 and became a full-time professional department in 1981. The fire department provides advanced life support services and patient transportation to area hospitals. It participates in a countywide first response system that responds to more than 3,900 emergency service calls annually, as well as provides emergency management services The City of Oviedo Fire Rescue has been awarded an ISO Class 2 rating and operates from various fire stations within the city of Oviedo, Fla. It is responsible for the delivery of fire prevention and education, training, suppression, emergency medical services, and hydrant and commercial building inspections.
