Luis Compres-Brugal, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist and director of the neuroimmunology/multiple sclerosis program at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. He specializes in the treatment of multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunological conditions. Dr. Compres-Brugal earned his medical degree with honors from the Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He served as chief resident during his adult neurology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at the University of South Florida, supported by the National MS Society. During his fellowship, he served as sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials aimed at advancing the field of multiple sclerosis and neuroinflammatory conditions.
