Dr. Hale is particularly passionate about helping patients recover from acute or chronic musculoskeletal injuries while respecting their personal goals, which may include returning to competitive sport, staying active at work or enjoying daily activities without pain. He also has a strong interest in injury prevention, healthy diet, patient education and using exercise as medicine to improve overall health. Dr. Hale earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. He served as academic chief during a family medicine residency at Central Michigan University in Saginaw, Michigan, and was a research assistant at Gerling Spine Care and Research Institute in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Hale’s clinical training also includes a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health | FIU in Miami, Florida. Dr. Yagnik specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow and knee. He is the team physician for the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Panthers. He has served as assistant team physician for the University of Miami and Florida International University football teams. He has also provided orthopedic coverage for Super Bowl LIV, BCS National Championship Game, FedEx Orange Bowl, Miami Open and NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. His experience caring for elite, collision sport athletes provides him with advanced knowledge he uses to treat all of his patients. Dr. Yagnik graduated at the top of his class in medical school and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During medical school, he performed surgical research that yielded two prestigious grants from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. During his residency, he was elected administrative chief resident and was given the Willard Award for the most outstanding resident. Dr. Yagnik currently serves as chairman of the Department of Surgery at West Kendall Baptist Hospital and was named Physician of the Year for West Kendall Baptist Hospital in 2018.
