He earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine and completed his OB-GYN residency at the State University of New York's Children's Hospital of Buffalo, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Alvarez specializes in preconception care, prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and comprehensive gynecology. He also serves as the Electronic Healthcare Records Chairman and a Board Member at Women's Care.
