Dr. Nixon is also a medical officer in the U.S. Air Force and is dedicated to empowering women through education and evidence-based care. Dr. Peter M. Alvarez is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 33 years of experience providing expert women's health care in Lakeland, FL. He earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine and completed his OB-GYN residency at the State University of New York's Children's Hospital of Buffalo, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Alvarez specializes in preconception care, prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and comprehensive gynecology. He also serves as the Electronic Healthcare Records Chairman and a Board Member at Women's Care.

Dr. Jeffrey Puretz is the Medical Director of Women's Care in Lakeland and a board-certified OB-GYN with over 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his OB-GYN residency in Buffalo, NY, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Puretz specializes in general obstetrics, prenatal care, infertility, menopause management, hormone replacement therapy, and in-office procedures. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Florida Medical Association.
