Dulce Isabel Blanco, DO

Angel Alejandro, M.D., is a board-certified endocrinologist at Baptist Health. Dr. Alejandro specializes in diabetes, thyroid care and osteoporosis. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Alejandro worked as the director of endocrinology at Leon Medical Centers in Miami. Dr. Alejandro played a key role in establishing programs using technology for diabetes control. His research currently focuses on osteoporosis and reducing fractures in women with breast cancer, and he most recently published an abstract at the ENDO 2022 conference. A member of the Endocrine Society, he received his medical degree from Cornell University, which is one of the top 10 medical schools in the United States. Dr. Alejandro’s approach to care is to educate patients, ensuring they understand their disease and treatment plan. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Alejandro enjoys following Miami sports teams and spending time with his family.

Robert Press, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist at Baptist Health, specializing in treating central nervous system tumors and thoracic malignancies.Before joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Press was a radiation oncologist at New York Proton Center, serving as the disease site lead for both central nervous system tumors and head and neck cancers. During this time, he also served as assistant clinical professor at Mt. Sinai Hospital and as a visiting investigator for the Department of Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.After earning his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Press completed his radiation oncology residency at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, where he also served as chief resident. During his residency, he was named the Andrew W. Pippas Resident in Radiation Oncology, an honor selected by the faculty for a resident who exemplifies professional and compassionate patient care.Dr. Press has extensive experience using proton therapy and other advanced radiation techniques to treat challenging tumors, including re-treatment of patients who previously received radiation therapy. He has developed numerous clinical trials and published more than 60 scientific publications.Dr. Press considers it a privilege to help people through the most challenging times of their lives. He is grateful to be able to meet people in these moments and care for them with compassion, humility and grace.In his free time, Dr. Press enjoys traveling and staying active, including hiking, running, sailing and spending time with family and friends.

Noah Kalman, M.D., MBA, is a radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of gynecologic, head and neck, thoracic and pediatric cancers, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers and sarcoma. He has special training and expertise in advanced radiation therapies such as stereotactic body radiation therapy, linear accelerator-based stereotactic radiosurgery and proton therapy. Dr. Kalman is actively involved in clinical research to improve treatment efficacy and patient outcomes. He has been recognized for his academic and clinical excellence. He serves as an editorial reviewer for several peer-reviewed scientific journals. He also is widely published in numerous medical journals and lectures at scientific symposiums.
