Daniel S. Plessl, M.D.

John Peden, M.D. is a Mayo Clinic-trained surgeon specializing in conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, and knee. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida, completed his residency at Mayo Clinic, and pursued a dual fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine at Mississippi Sports Medicine. Dr. Peden has taught arthroscopic techniques for over 15 years and has published chapters on elbow reconstruction. As Medical Director for The Advanced Center for Surgery in Vero Beach, he introduced innovative procedures like the BEAR® Implant for ACL repair. He also offers arthroscopic surgery for irreparable rotator cuff tears using a biodegradable subacromial balloon spacer.

Craig A. Popp, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained spine specialist with more than 19 years of experience. He joined Vero Orthopaedics in 2017, bringing his expertise in minimally invasive spinal procedures, including kyphoplasty for spinal fractures, disc replacement, and motion-sparing techniques. Dr. Popp believes in a team approach to patient care, working closely with patients to create tailored treatment plans that offer the best possible outcome. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Illinois. He also completed a spine surgery fellowship at USC. In his spare time, Dr. Popp enjoys sailing, skiing, swimming, and water polo.

Dr. Alfredo Arrojas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Vero Orthopaedics who specializes in total joint reconstruction. He has extensive training in robotic-assisted total knee, total hip, and partial knee replacements as well as direct anterior and revision total hip replacement, revision total knee replacement, and cementless total knee arthroplasty. In his practice, he strives to keep his patients informed through shared decision-making and treating them as if they were part of his family. Dr. Arrojas is available to see patients at our office located in Vero Beach, Florida.
