It has evolved from oil lamp, to automation, to electricity over the years & still continues to serve. Since it sits on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) property, the public is not allowed to drive on site without an escort, therefore all visits must be booked several days in advance. Once you get here, you'll get to explore the Historical Lighthouse, Keepers Cottage & grounds, and visit Hangar C, where you’ll see restored launch systems & rockets, some of which can only be seen here.
