Amanda V Steffensen

Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. Dr. Nguyen was born in California and speaks fluent English, Vietnamese and Spanish. In 2002 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Florida graduating Cum Laude. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida in 2006. Dr. Nguyen also completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of South Florida in 2010 where she served as Academic Chief Resident.

Helen is a registered and licensed dietitian, and a certified diabetes educator. She's a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, the American Dietetic Association and Alpha Omicron Honors Society. Helen received her bachelor's degree in nutrition science from The Pennsylvania State University. She has more than 20 years of experience in diabetes management education. In her spare time, Helen enjoys skiing, hiking, and playing soccer and volleyball with her family.

Sasha is board certified as an advanced registered nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She's also a member of the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network and the Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH). Sasha received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of South Florida and her master's degree in nursing from the University of Tampa. She worked as a pediatric medical and surgical nurse for more than seven years before transitioning to a family nurse practitioner. She has special interests in women's health including gynecology, adolescent education, breast cancer awareness and coping, postpartum depression and holistic approaches to self-care and general wellness.
