Adeel Kaiser, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute and clinical associate professor at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers using proton beam, IMRT, and theranostic and MRI-guided adaptive therapies. He aims to provide each patient with a personalized, integrative treatment strategy for their cancer by incorporating complementary therapies with state-of-the-art radiation technology. Dr. Kaiser attained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University and completed his radiation oncology training at the University of California Irvine/City of Hope Integrated Program in Radiation Oncology. Prior to joining Miami Cancer Institute, he held faculty appointments at the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University and Loma Linda University. At the University of Maryland, he served as director of the Advanced Modalities Fellowship Program. This program trained national and international students in emerging radiation oncology modalities, including pencil beam proton therapy, GammaPod radiosurgery and deep tissue hyperthermia. Dr. Kaiser also served as instructor of the Varian Proton Therapy School as well as director of the Integrative Wellness Program at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center, which sought to incorporate diet, exercise, acupuncture and emotional support strategies with radiation therapy. Dr. Kaiser is widely published in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has led multiple clinical trials and was the first radiation oncologist to lead an NIH-funded ketogenic diet pilot study for patients undergoing active surveillance for prostate cancer. Dr. Kaiser is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.

Dr. Mehta is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology and in neuro-oncology by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. He has held national leadership positions in numerous organizations, including the American Board of Radiology, the FDA Radiological Devices Panel, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Society of Neuro-Oncology.
