Abhinav Mohan, M.D., is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, with subspecialty training and expertise in interventional pain management. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of conditions affecting the spine and musculoskeletal system. He has expertise in electrodiagnostic studies, minimally invasive procedures, multidisciplinary pain management, pain neuroscience education, functional restoration, regenerative medicine and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Mohan uses both fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance to perform interventional procedures such as epidural injections, facet-targeted interventions, nerve blocks, joint injections, myofascial injections and regenerative medicine/platelet-rich plasma therapy. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Mohan treated patients at the Center for Interdisciplinary Spine in Sacramento, California. Dr. Mohan earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He completed an internal medicine internship and served as chief resident during a physical medicine & rehabilitation residency at Memorial Healthcare System, Hollywood, Fla. His clinical training also includes a chronic pain medicine fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Dedicated to advancing medical knowledge, Dr. Mohan has shared his expertise by publishing in medical journals, presenting at scientific meetings and serving as a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Mohan is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain. He educates his patients about their condition and uses timely and accurate diagnosis and minimally invasive treatments to help them regain their desired lifestyle. Amalia Landa-Galindez, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care | FIU. She provides comprehensive primary care and has a particular interest in cardiovascular disease, including lipid and coronary calcification screening and lifestyle modifications; musculoskeletal disorders, such as osteoporosis, gout and inflammatory/autoimmune disorders; nutrition and diet counseling; and women’s health. Committed to training the next generation of physicians, Dr. Landa-Galindez serves as chair, clerkship director and associate professor of internal medicine at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She participates in recruiting faculty, arranging internal medicine clerkship sites and organizing student educational activities. She leads the development and assessment of internal medicine curriculum, serves as faculty advisor for students pursuing an internal medicine residency, contributes to developing graduate internal medicine residency programs and serves on numerous university committees. Dr. Landa-Galindez has presented her research at medical symposiums and published her findings in peer-reviewed journals. She also contributes to the scientific community as a fellow of the Florida Chapter of the American College of Physicians and member and committee member of numerous professional organizations. Dr. Landa-Galindez earned her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
