Dr. Richard Frank serves as the system chief of clinical and translational cancer research for Nuvance Health. He oversees clinical cancer trials across the health system, including original research in pancreatic cancer. He also is the Nancy J. and Eugene P. Beard Endowed Chair in Cancer Research at Nuvance Health, reflecting his remarkable contributions to cancer care and research. Dr. Frank has more than 30 years of experience as a medical oncologist/hematologist and specializes in pancreatic, gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers such as prostate, kidney and bladder cancer as well as lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Dr. Frank has held academic leadership roles and served as a fellow and attending physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, received The Humanitarian Award from the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society and is the author of the book for patients, "Fighting Cancer with Knowledge and Hope" (Yale University Press, 2013).
