Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority Customer Service
The Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority (GNHWPCA) was established in July 2005 as a Regional Sewer Authority, providing sewer services to the communities of New Haven, Hamden, East Haven, and Woodbridge. With over 500 miles of sewer mains and 30 pump stations, GNHWPCA efficiently manages the flow of wastewater to the East Shore Water Pollution Abatement Facility, the second largest wastewater treatment plant in Connecticut.
Committed to environmental protection, GNHWPCA implements various projects aimed at minimizing its environmental impact while supporting the economic and social well-being of the region. In addition to local services, it also treats wastewater for a portion of North Branford's sewer customers through a collaborative agreement.
