Amalia Dorelien

Dr. Wellisch began his career in Pain Medicine at The Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA. Following his training, he continued to practice clinically and serve as teaching faculty at Stanford. Dr. Wellisch takes pride in educating and mentoring his medical students, residents and fellows. He also conducted research in Molecular Neuroscience as well as on the “patient experience.” He has published numerous articles and medical reviews and has been invited to serve as guest reviewer for various medical specialty journals. After returning home to the East Coast with his wife and three children, Dr. Wellisch has set out to establish a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary pain center at Stamford Health to serve our community and beyond. Dr. Wellisch has been recognized as “Top Doctor,” and has previously led a pain management program to #1 ranking by Castle Connolly.

Dr. Felix De Jesus Roman is a board-certified internist and geriatrician who has dedicated his health care career in focusing in elderly care and improving the health and life of his patients. He graduated with honors from medical school and completed his residency and fellowship in Yale-affiliated programs. Dr. Roman has worked in different communities and different age groups, including underserved communities. Dr Roman is passionate about geriatric care and assessing and treating the complexity of different geriatric syndromes. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Rashma Jhunja is an internal medicine and primary care physician who treats patients with a variety of conditions. She also provides personalized healthcare with a focus on nutrition, lifestyle and stress management.Dr. Jhunja specializes in managing multiple health conditions, utilizing her background in both traditional internal medicine as well as integrative and holistic medicine to address both short- and long-term health conditions through all stages of life.Dr. Jhunja is passionate about the doctor-patient teamwork approach in managing her patients’ healthcare.She also enjoys playing an active role in educating medical students and residents and has served as a mentor and preceptor her entire career.
