Colorado State Patrol

Colorado State Patrol is a law enforcement agency. It maintains social order within prescribed ethical and constitutional limits and provides professional law enforcement services. Colorado State Patrol responds to calls for law enforcement services and enforces state and local laws and ordinances. The department also protects life and property, investigates matters of criminal nature, preserves peace and strives to prevent crime and disorders. It is operated by the State of Colorado. Colorado State Patrol hosts an annual youth academy, distributes statistical information and provides training to the community and other law enforcement agencies on traffic safety. It maintains one of its office locations in Commerce City, Colo.
