Vintage Marina

Vintage Marina is a stone's throw from two of Ventura County's most pristine beaches- Hollywood Beach and Silver Strand. Hollywood Beach is located on the west side of the Harbor and offers a pristine recreation area as well as a great vantage point to view the Channel Islands. Silver Strand Beach is located on the east side of the Harbor and is world-renowned for it's surfing, boogie boarding and body surfing. Both beaches are equipped with public restrooms and lifeguard services are provided on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Free parking is available. The Channel Islands Harbor makes the perfect launching point to visit the nearby sites of Ventura, Santa Barbara, and the Channel Islands National Park. Ventura is a sleepy beach town fifteen minutes north of the marina, and offers a variety of excellent restaurants that you'll love to enjoy after a busy day in the marina, or out on the open sea. Driving another 30 minutes north, you'll hit Santa Barbara, which is described by local residents as "California's Mediterranean". Santa Barbara is where the rich and famous from Los Angeles head to get away from the crowds and pollution of the city. Five star dining -establishments are readily available, or if walk-up taco stands are more your style, you're in luck. Be sure to check out some of the local wine from Santa Barbara County while you're there. While staying at the Vintage Marina, make sure you don't miss out on the Channel Islands National Park, which can easily be accessed from the harbor and marinas. The Channel Islands National Park is actually made up of five islands, and here you'll be able to see over 2, 000 plants and animals; over 145 of these species can't be found anywhere but the Channel Islands.
