Valley View Elementary School

Valley View Elementary School is a California distinguished school serving the educational needs of students in grades kindergarten through six. The school has an enrollment of more than 700 students and offers classes in mathematics, social studies, science and technology, computer science, health education, English, arts and crafts, music and physical education. It also provides special education to students with special needs. Its parent-teacher association sponsors various family events and academic enrichment programs throughout the school year. The association collects General Mills Box Tops and empty ink cartridges. The school s character of the month program recognizes students for various virtues, including gratitude, trustworthiness, patriotism, cooperation, fairness, respect, responsibility, citizenship and perseverance. Valley View Elementary School is a part of the Sulphur Springs Union Elementary School District and is located in Newhall, Calif.
