Founded in 1977, Valley High School offers programs to students in grades nine through 12. It has various departments that include health, science, child development, world language and business. The school offers classes in English, math, history, science, art, computer technology, economics and social studies. It provides athletic training and facility for various sports, including volleyball, basketball, cross country and tennis. Its library has a collection of a variety of books, magazines, dictionaries and encyclopedias and provides Internet access and online referrals. The school also provides tutorial assistance, career counseling and performance assessment services. In addition, it organizes a variety of activities, including music, art and craft, workshops and seminars. Valley High School is a part of the Elk Grove Unified School District. It is located in Sacramento, Calif.
