The Buckley School

Buckley School, founded in 1933 is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory day school located in Sherman Oaks, Calif. The school offers education to students in grades kindergarten through 12. It offers various advanced placement courses in robotics, performing arts, theater, foreign languages, physical education, technology, English, and health and consumer sciences. Its upper school offers various advanced placement courses in English language and composition, calculus, government and politics, American history, biology, chemistry and environmental science. Additionally, it offers French and Spanish, Latin literature, Java programming and music courses. The clubs of the school includes Junior Classical League, ping pong club, Junior Statesmen of America, International Thespian Society, Northern California winter sports, habitat for humanity and acappella clubs. It also offers international studies, summer schools and theater programs. The extracurricular activities of the school include dramas, debate, dances and community service. The school also offers various sports options, such as football, volleyball, equestrian, cross country and tennis.
