High Point Academy

Founded in 1965, the High Point Academy is an independent educational institution that offers a range of educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade eight. The academy is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, French, Spanish, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school also conducts classes in art, music, physical education, computer applications and poetry. It maintains a library and media center that features a collection of books and reference and instructional materials. In addition, the school organizes a variety of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, swimming, and track and field. The High Point Academy is located in Pasadena, Calif.
