History

Take the Stage owner Bethany Price directed a production of the Jungle Book at Minnie Gant Elementary School when her son was in Kindergarten there. When the show ended, she wasn't ready for the rehearsal and learning process to end, so she began teaching acting classes for kids on weekends. That led to the creation of Take the Stage Long Beach.

Take the Stage Long Beach offers personalized acting and performance training for kids, youth and teens ages 4-18. Emphasis is on effective, powerful storytelling choices based in truth and creative imagination. Make Believe in the truest theatrical sense!
