Special Education Advocacy supporting IEP processes, placement and program identification * Experienced parents of special needs children * Provides instruction in advocacy skills * Work with many school districts, regional centers and families. * Offers support with educational placement, appropriate support services and interventions, securing assessments in all areas of suspected disability, independent educational evaluations (IEE) and appeals, IEP support, measurable goal writing,correspondence/request letter writing and support and due process mediation negotiations * Will work with your family as a team to address your concerns * Collaborative model and efforts to teach you to be an effective advocate for your child * Provides referrals for interventions therapies providers, support groups and family support.
