The Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund provides training and education to people with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities about their rights under state and federal disability rights laws. Founded in 1959, Crystal Run Village, also known as CRV, is an independent, nonprofit organization that provides services to more than 700 people with developmental, physical and psychiatric disabilities. The organization offers services in areas, such as vocational placement, residential and educational opportunities, recreational, and personal and domestic skills training. It provides services through a variety of residential, skills development, service coordination and case management programs. Crystal Run Village serves Sullivan, Orange and Rockland counties in New York. It offers services for individuals with autism and spectrum disorders, epilepsy, neurological impairments and cerebral palsy. Crystal Run Village maintains its corporate headquarters in Middletown, N.Y.
