Nice little park to hike around Lake Hodges. Generally very quiet and a easy-to-moderate hike. Excellent views.

The San Dieguito River Park is a regional greenway that spans 55 miles from Del Mar to Volcan Mountain, showcasing the natural beauty of San Diego County along the San Dieguito River. With the goal of preserving and interpreting the area's natural and cultural resources, the park offers recreational and educational opportunities that harmoniously connect with nature.
From the Coast to Crest Trail, which will eventually link Del Mar to Volcan Mountain over 70 miles, to the celebration and preservation of local heritage and natural resources, the San Dieguito River Park is dedicated to creating a lasting legacy. Through donations to the San Dieguito River Park Endowment Fund, the park ensures the long-term stewardship of its trail system and leverages public and private grants to support its maintenance and management in perpetuity.
