Time for an update! I haven't been to Daley Ranch on a weekday in many years. Weekends are crazy packed and not many people are wearing masks...but on the weekday, it's a different story....

The Friends of Daley Ranch is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation, enhancement, and promotion of the stunning Daley Ranch in Escondido, California. With over 25 miles of trails on 3,150 acres of historical ranch lands and undisturbed native habitats, Daley Ranch offers ample opportunities for hiking, biking, and horseback riding while providing a vital natural habitat for various forms of wildlife.
Having been inhabited by Native Americans for thousands of years, Daley Ranch holds a rich history. The property was purchased by the city of Escondido in 1997 and is now operated as a conservation mitigation bank. The Friends of Daley Ranch work in collaboration with the city to improve and advocate for the ranch, ensuring its preservation for future generations to enjoy.

My second time coming here today and it was wonderful! I was so nervous when I saw the almost-full parking lot at 7:45am on Memorial Day, but the most foot traffic we encountered was near the end...

There are signs on daily ranch of mountain lion around the area . Im assuming they are being posted because they are more sightings of them. Usually , mountain lions are solitary. I have seen a...

Came here to walk my dogs , it was a holiday so it was busy but I would love to come another time and enjoy the views of the lake .
