Robert Stemmler Winery

In 1976, Robert Stemmler Winery, located in Dry Creek, Calif., was created with the assistance of partner Trumbull Webb Kelly. The winery released its first pinot noir in 1982. The company offers an estate-grown pinot noir and chardonnay, as well as a Nugent Vineyard pinot noir from the Russian River Valley and Ferguson Block pinot noir from the Carneros appellation. The wines of Robert Stemmler are handcrafted, limited releases of estate grown Burgundian-style varietals. The company s wines are made from fruit grown on The Donum Estate in Carneros and the Nugent Vineyard in the Russian River appellations of Sonoma County, Calif.
