Riverfront Playhouse, established in 1981, is a community theatre located in Redding, CA, committed to providing quality theatrical productions through the efforts of dedicated volunteers. As the region's longest continually operating all-volunteer community theatre, it has been a vibrant part of the local cultural landscape since its first play debuted on July 10, 1981.

In 2020, Riverfront Playhouse relocated to 1950 California Street in downtown Redding, further solidifying its role within the Redding Cultural District.
