History

The practice opened on the anniversary of 9/11 in 2018. This event in our history drove Dwight to enlist in the military instead of law school and he served several years in the army starting with basic training in 2001. Dwight's military experience, law enforcement background and the other unique things he has been blessed to do in his life steered him toward his doctorate in psychology. From there, helping people in local community was the next step for him. Dwight and Nilou joined together in 2019 and work collaboratively to provide effective, and highly personalized program to help individuals grow each year. They work together as a team in a safe environment to help you reach your goals and become more fulfilled in your life.

Specialties

Privacy, confidentiality, and respect are the core of our practice. Rise & Thrive psychological services specializes in individual, couples, and marriage counseling. Psychological testing with nationally accredited tests through Pearson are also available. Diagnostic testing for bipolar disorder, other mood disorders and personality disorders are also provided. Our goal is to get our clients on the right path in their life and for them to be their best selves. There is no magic to Psychology. At our center we focus on the science and biology of the body and the mind to help our clients.
