Paul Ziffren Sports Resource Center of the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles, founded in 1936, is one of the most important sports libraries in the world. Its collection includes a variety of archival materials, scholarly journals, online data bases and historically significant photographs. The collection also includes annual sports guides, coaching videos, the Avery Brundage collection and more than 3,500 volumes of archival Olympic publications. Its 10,000-square-foot facility includes the library, a large meeting room, two small reading rooms and two video screening rooms. Paul Ziffren Sports Resource Center of the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles is open Monday through Friday.
