The Pasadena Shotokan Karate Dojo, established in April 2015, offers students a unique opportunity to connect with the rich heritage of martial arts through the teachings of Ohshima Sensei, a direct disciple of Master Gichin Funakoshi, the Father of Modern Japanese Karate. Focused on the holistic development of body, mind, and spirit, the dojo aims to instill character and values in its students while preserving the art for future generations.

I am fortunate to have found and joined this dojo. SKA is steeped in history - its lineage dates back to the early 1800s. You feel this enormous responsibility to respect and honor its legacy....
