Pacific Light and Power : Internal Martial Arts

History

Pacific Light & Power - Internal Martial Arts was founded in the upper Midwest in 1983 to promote the study and practice of high level Chinese Internal Martial Arts in the United States. In 1987 its headquarters and most of its activities were moved to California where it has engaged in teaching and training ever since. Its' headquarters and main training center is currently located in Gilroy, California in the Southern gateway to Silicon Valley (Santa Clara Valley).

Specialties

Tai Chi Chuan: For self-healing, fitness, movement, breathing and self-defense; Qigong: Traditional and non-traditional meditation, bio-energy (Qi) cultivation, healing, stretching and transformational practices; Kung Fu: From Northern Shaolin, Xing Yi Quan, and related approaches to self defense training and conditioning; Sanshou Freefighting: Interactive sparring and competition training including boxing, kickboxing and standup grappling, throwing and takedown skills (Tuishou).
