Operation Safe House

Established in 1990, Operation SafeHouse is a private, nonprofit organization that provides community-based programs and services for children and youths. It maintains an emergency shelter home and provides housing, food, clothing, counseling services and recreational activities to those in need. The organization offers transitional living services through its apartment complex and provides training related to life skills development. Operation SafeHouse offers educational services through an on-site public school. Additionally, it provides case management, information and referral, and individual, family and group counseling services. The organization also assists with GED preparation and personal and professional growth, as well as offers employment services. Located in Riverside, Calif., Operation SafeHouse works in association with the Riverside County Unified School District.
