Casa Youth Shelter

Located in Los Alamitos, Calif., Casa Youth Shelter offers a variety of counseling, educational and shelter support programs and services. It serves homeless adolescents and victims of sexual abuse . The organization offers family therapy services, as well as conducts educational and parenting classes. It also provides a youth development program that features leadership training sessions for high school students. The organization offers in-house volunteer and graduate and undergraduate student fieldwork programs. It employs a food service coordinator, clinical director, youth supervisors, community volunteers and teachers. In addition, the organization conducts classes on anger management, art therapy, decision-making, eating attitudes and family life.
