The Buddhist Churches of America (BCA) is a non-monastic tradition founded by Shinran Shonin in 1173-1263. With over 60 Shin Buddhist communities across the United States, BCA offers a family-friendly path to awakening and realization through listening to the teachings. They provide livestream services, videos, Zoom discussions, and other online activities to engage with their Sangha community.

Celebrating their 125th anniversary in 2024, BCA is grateful for the people who have shaped their organization and ensured its future. Their mission is to help individuals awaken to their true selves, which is one with all beings and all things. Through their temples and digital offerings, BCA invites all ages to participate in the path of Buddhism and learn from anyone and anything that can be a teacher.
