The National School District (NSD), located just five miles from downtown San Diego, serves approximately 4,000 students from preschool through sixth grade across ten elementary schools and a preschool center. Founded in 1871, it is the second-oldest school district in San Diego County and is proud to be recognized as the nation's first elementary-only Heart Safe District, as well as a California Green Ribbon Silver Honoree.
