Moorpark College

Established in 1967, Moorpark College caters the educational needs of more than 14,000 students in it s over 130-acre facility. The college offers associates degree in anthropology, art, biology, biotechnology and animal science. Its business courses include accounting, business communication, management, marketing and small business. Moorpark College also offers courses in computer information systems, education, interior design, journalism, nursing, radiologic technology and philosophy. Additionally, the college provides classes in theater arts, music, drama and speech. The college library has a collection of more than 72,000 books and over 300 periodical subscriptions. It also offers microfilm, CDs and video tapes. Moorpark College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is located in Moorpark, Calif.
