Founded in 1947, Pierce College is a two-year public institution that serves more than 23,000 students. The college offers associate degrees and occupational certification programs. It provides instruction in the areas of art, architecture, automotive service technology, business administration and chemistry. The college has a library that offers magazines, journals, books and newspapers. Pierce College also provides career and technical education programs.
