Mariner Square Athletic Club is a full-service health club located on Alameda's west end, near the Webster-Posey Tube. The 50,000-square-foot facility includes a pool, raquetball and squash courts, four studios, a spinning gym, multiple weight-training areas and a private women's gym. Mariner Square offers more than 85 classes weekly, including circuit training, Zumba, spinning, belly dancing, striptease, Pilates, boot camp and kickboxing. The gym also boasts a pro shop, a cafe and free WiFi. There are saunas and hot tubs in the locker rooms and the on-site child care center is bright and spacious and staffed by longtime caregivers.
