In 1952, Mardee Kidd and Val Kidd opened a small food store in Lodi, Calif., which is today s Mar-Val Food Stores. The company has grown to four stores and over 200 employees. Its stores are located in Georgetown, Prather, Ripon and Valley Springs, Calif. Mar-Val Food Stores frequently introduces monthly and weekly specials and several promotional programs. Its stores sell meat, seafood, fresh produce, groceries, and bakery and deli products. It also offers a range of gourmet and specialty foods, as well as party trays. Through corporate and foundation giving, campaigns carried out by its stores, local programs and individual employee involvement, Mar-Val Food Stores supports its communities and numerous nonprofit organizations.

If you live in Georgetown this is THE grocery store. A little more pricey than the city, but hey what can you do. It's the convenience fee. They have pretty much everything you need! I miss doing...
