HistoryCatalina Adventure Tours began over 35 years ago when the first glass bottom boat was built to provide viewing opportunities of the island's mesmerizing undersea gardens. Buses with air-conditioning were added to provide personally narrated land trips within the city or into the interior for visiting cruise ship passengers. To improve the existing glass bottom boat trips, a bigger glass bottom boat was constructed with fish feeding capabilities from every viewing well so the passenger could feed the fish themselves right from their seats. In 1999, the Nautilus, first semi-submersible vessel of its kind made with high composite fiberglass material, was introduced. Designed with fish food torpedoes, passengers can feed the fish from each of their seats for an additional on board fee. The company also offers boat or bus charters, shore boat or water taxi services, and a variety of seasonal tours like the seal rock tours and sunset harbor cruises.SpecialtiesSightseeing tours by and or by sea.
